We may need you to give us your head size. To do so, please use a IN/CM measuring tape and measure your head circumference where a hat would typically sit, 1/2cm above the ears. Here is a helpful tool to help you do it correctly.



Yes. When you add an item to your shopping bag, you can add the country of delivery and the shipping cost will be calculated automatically. Prices are displayed exclusive of VAT if you are based outside of the UK.

If your country is not in the list, please email the studio to ask for a shipping quote. International delivery times vary depending on the final destination. We would advise 1-2 working days for the USA and Europe, and 5-7 working days for Australia.

We make our hats bespoke to order. Our usual turnaround time is 4 weeks, although we can make to tighter schedules where possible. If you can let us know when the hat is needed by, we can check the timings with Rachel.

If you have chosen your outfit, we suggest bringing it in with to try on some hats and to visualise how the whole outfit would look together. It will also help us to colour match or choose a contrasting colour. If you are unable to bring your outfit in, we could also work from a swatch or a colour reference (e.g. reel of cotton, piece of paper from a magazine that matches the colour).

Measure the circumference of your head in centimetres or inches. This should be measured at the point where the hat sits on your head. 1-2cm above your ears. Please refer to our drawing above.

Yes, our team is there to guide you through the process. Typically, we would ask you to browse through our collection and send us a selection of styles using the Look Book feature which we will be able to quote prices on. If you want an exact copy of the design, we will then take payment over the phone to confirm your order and take down the delivery details. Alternatively, we can make it bespoke to match or contrast with your outfit. We will then ask you to provide us with a fabric swatch or colour reference, your hair colour, your head measurement and finally discuss any design changes (e.g. trims, sizes).

On the day of your appointment, you can expect to see Rachel or a member of our team to discuss the event you are wearing the hat or headpiece to. Once we have a better idea of what you are looking for, we will suggest a few shapes to determine what you feel comfortable wearing. Once we have settled on a design, we will decide on colours and trims together. Your first appointment typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour. We typically take a 50% deposit and book you in for a fitting to see the bespoke trims and colours before it is finished and ready for collection. This is to ensure that you are happy with the final design and to give us time for final adjustments.
