Royal Ascot’s #StyledWithThanks campaign
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic this year, Royal Ascot as well as other racing events took place behind closed doors. Royal Ascot invited fans across the globe to dress up, with a hat, and take part in a unique ‘Royal Ascot At Home’ campaign. In recognition of our frontline heroes and those affected by COVID-19, Ascot launched the #StyledWithThanks charity appeal and kick-started the fund with a £100,000 donation to be split between the fund’s four frontline charities.
Rachel Trevor-Morgan along with the British Hat Guild designed and produced an exclusive range of rainbow-themed hats to be sold at auction with all money raised being added to the charity fund.
Our Rainbow Disc modelled here by Lady Forsyth for Hello Magazine, was auctioned online throughout the week of ‘Royal Ascot At Home’. The final amount raised by The British Hat Guild auction sales was an incredible £54,000 for The National Emergencies Trust Relief Fund, NHS Charities Together, The Care Workers Charity and the Berkshire Community Foundation.
